for Septic Systems Workshop
Are you a landowner interested in improving your outdated septic system, providing a better habitat for aquatic species, or increasing the health of you and your family?
Join us on March 13, 2010 at Asbury Woods Nature Center for this informational workshop and discover the funding available to help you offset the cost of improving your septic system.

CFL Bulbs
ECCD is an approved site to recycle your old CFL bulbs. Drop off hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00 pm. To learn more about CFL bulbs, click here.
Cascade Creek Restoration Project:
This projected is funded through several local, state and federal sources; Growing Greener 1, Great Lakes Basin Program, and the S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie. Located at Frontier Park this project has restored 500 feet of stream bank and reduced sediments loads into Presque Isle Bay by 68.19 tons per year! For a current status report click here.

On June 15, 2009 Erie County Consveration District held a meeting at the Fairview Township Building to inform the public of what was happening within their local watershed; 70 concerned residents came to show their support and voice their opinion.
