Our office has many educational programs to offer to any type of audience! Listed below are some of the opportunities available. Please contact our office for more information.
County Envirothon Competition:
This competition is for high school students. To participate a team must have 3-5 students and an adviser. If your school would like to participate please contact emilypritchard@erieconservation.com. For more information on the Envirothon-envirothonpa.org/.
Headwaters Park:
Our office is located at the Natural Resource Center at Headwaters Park. The park is a 35 acre out door classroom. There are many opportunities for education both inside and outside. We have programs for pre-school students all the way up to senior citizens. Examples of programs include water quality sampling, nature walks, and Best Management Practices tours.
In-school programs:
We have several lessons presentations that can easily be brought into the school. Topics include, watershed, water quality, agriculture, conservation, environment and economy, and many more!
