Covid - 19 Response

In response to the direction from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and the PA Department of Environmental Protection, the Erie County Conservation District will operate according to the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  The District office is open and is staffed on a daily basis.  If an office visit is required, visitors are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a staff person, and upon arrival are required to wear a mask or face covering.  Visitors are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out upon departure.  Office bathrooms remain restricted to general public.

District Staff will be working both in the office and remotely through a staggered schedule indefinitely.  Staff is available via phone and email.

You can still contact the District through our general phone voicemail 814-825-6403 and general email address eriecons@erieconservation.com.  These will be checked daily, and a staff member will get back with you.  Staff phone extensions are as follows:

Amanda Shreve - #21

Ryan Nageotte - #23

Tom McClure - #24

Joseph Hudson - #25

Bethany Fritz - #26

Brian Zeppenfeld - #28

Kristen Currier - #29

Gene Clemente - #33

The District is still accepting plans and permit applications by US Mail and drop off.  There is a drop off area located in the vestibule in the front of the ECCD office building.  Plans and applications received after March 17, 2020 may be subject to revised review guidelines provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

As we navigate through this public health crisis, this posting is subject to change and will be updated as necessary.  Thank you.
